Value exploration and transfer by means of dilemma analysis in the professional social work training course, an (international) methodical horizon exploration. This project covers various sub-studies in which the normative identity of social work is central. As an output to practice, the aim was to develop a reflective set of tools for the work field and education in order to arrive at values and position exploration (expert circles) and, from this model, to investigate cases that offer insight into the normative challenges facing social work (superdiversity, cultural diversity, care avoidance).
In addition, as a partner in the book project’ A kaleidoscope of social work research’ of the Research Forum on Social Work (UAntwerp), the research project examines the question of what the individuality of social work research is and explores the contours of the capability approach as an inspiring normative, evaluation and action framework for social work.
