Elise Wauters (1988°) has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a master’s degree in Sociology.
After her training she worked at the Forensic Psychiatric Centre of Ghent-Antwerp, where internees with a high risk profile are admitted. Here she was called in to develop often complex diagnostics and as a group therapist in risk management and relapse prevention of new offences.
As a lecturer at the Applied Psychology programme (AP University College), Elise currently works in course units relating to psychodiagnostics and prevention. She is also part of the research team in a project on the psychological resilience of performing artists.
